Alternative Choices is an independent practice offering counseling and  psychotherapy with experienced, dedicated psychotherapists and licensed psychologists to children, adolescents and adults.  Since each individual and family is unique, our treatment strategies are tailored to address that uniqueness and help you get on the road to healing and growth.  Effective psychotherapy is empowering.

Our practice includes the Special Needs Families Resources Center, directed by Dr. Robert Naseef and dedicated to the families of those with special needs.

Many difficult moments can cause you to feel overwhelmed or stressed.  We use current evidence-based and traditional treatment strategies specifically tailored to meet individual needs.

Office Location: 514 South 4th Street, Philadelphia, PA

 

Hours:

Office hours are Monday through Saturday by appointment only.   Early morning and evening appointments are available.

A typical therapy hour = fifty minutes.

Financial Considerations:

We are preferred Blue Cross providers but are considered out-of-network for HMO's or PPO's including Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO's.  We are not on HMO or managed care panels.  Payment is required at the time of service.  Receipts can be provided for reimbursement.  Fees may be adjusted according to an individual's resources.  Basic fees for individual treatment range from $50.00 to $150.00 per fifty minute hour.

Other current fees:  Initial evaluation for adults -$150.00, for children - $100.00.  Groups range from $40.00-55.00.  The anti-violence program costs $100.00 for the 8 week      program.                                                                                               

Our practice is also active in educational and community service.
